Prague in detail: cross the river bank

To continue the detailed expedition of Prague, the 2nd day tour shows the other side of the river bank beginning with passing across the Charles Bridge through Lesser Town (or Little Prague Quarter) and with visiting Prague Castle. To give you ideas please see short descriptions for each historical town;

Charles Bridge

One of Prague’s and the world’s famous architectural icons, this Gothic Bridge built from mortar mixed with eggs in the 14th century, complete with its 3 beautiful bridge towers and decorated with 30 baroque statues, has a mystic side with its legendary five star symbol. People have for centuries touched the legend-wrapped symbol entrusting their dreams here. Ancient legend says - once you touch the mystic five star sign your wish will become true...!

Lesser Town

Beautiful renaissance houses and palaces, Baroque and Rococo decoration and statues with the amazing baroque church of St. Nicholas built by Kilian Ignac Dientzenhofer - the centre piece of Lesser Town, also known as the little Quarter. It is occupied by a rampart called the Hungry Wall, while the Mannerist Church of Infant Jesus of Prague, with the Venice of Prague called Kampa Island and Devil's Stream will make you feel like you’re in a fairy tale whilst exploring its narrow winding streets.

Prague Castle

Prague Castle Town Hradcany with monumental Gothic Cathedral represents the "Crown of Prague"! During our walk we will visit the interior of St. Vitus Cathedral, pass through 3 castle courtyards up to Pohorelec to Strahov Monastery area, where is possible to make a lunch break in Monastic Brewery and taste the "holy" beer of St. Norbert.
